Samip Raval

Samip is an actor, director, & writer from Charlotte, North Carolina. Regional credits include Arena Stage, Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Shakespeare Theater Company, Playmakers Repertory Theater, and Georgia Shakespeare Festival. Workshops/Residencies with the Kennedy Center, Lincoln Center Education, Sonnet Repertory/Signature Theater, Eugene O’Neill Playwrights Conference, Emerging Artists Theater, LaGuardia Performing Arts Center. His short film, The Faucet, which he wrote and directed, screened at the Oxford Film Festival and Toronto Short Film Festival.  He has devised theater with artists in Kenya and India, and works as a teaching artist with ASTEP in South Florida and New York. Recipient of the William Kenan Fellowship. Training: North Carolina School of the Arts.
